Yoga helps raise awareness of how your body moves and this awareness can help regulate food intake. Come learn about the science of yoga as it relates to nutrition, the body and breath. Learn some techniques to create a more vibrant you by using yoga asanas (postures), yoga pranayama (breathing), and yoga s concepts of the koshas (psychology). You will be offered the opportunity to take a self-assessment to help reflect on your lifestyle, participate in a group discussion, and partake in a yoga movement session. No prior experience with yoga is necessary. Dress in loose, comfortable clothing. Bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and a blanket, which is used as a prop in some yoga poses and as a comfort during the resting pose of Savasana.
