Class will be held in Room #135.
This course introduces students to Google applications: Gmail, Google Docs, Drawing, Keep, Sheets, Forms, Slides and Sites. Students will learn basic features and gain an introductory knowledge of the applications. Students may take the entire five weeks or choose which classes they want to attend. Week 1 (Gmail): Students will learn the fundamentals of email, contacts, tasks and calendar. Week 2 (Google Docs): Students will learn how to create, edit and format documents, share with others and fundamentals of Google Drawing and Google Keep. Week 3 (Google Sheets): Students will learn how to create, edit and format a spreadsheet, and fundamentals of Google Forms. Week 4 (Google Slides): Students will learn how to create, edit and format a presentation and build a flyer. Week 5 (Google Sites): Students will learn how to build and publish a web site. All Google applications are free and are web-based. Bring your own laptop. A hands-on approach will be used to teach you the fundamentals of applications. If time permits, more advanced tips and tricks will be shared. PLEASE NOTE: The Gold Card Discount applies only to full session of 5 week course. It does not apply to individual classes.
