Yoga is scientifically proven to improve and maintain spine, joints, balance, and brain. This holistic, therapeutic yoga class, taught by Liz Wanner, cultivates this healing power through gentle yoga stretches, balance exercises, breathing techniques, acupressure points, and mindfulness meditation. Scientifically proven benefits include stress, anxiety, and chronic pain reduction; increased strength, flexibility, and balance; decreased inflammation and blood pressure; improved sleep, memory, and problem solving; and enhanced well-being and self-esteem. All are welcome, including beginners and experienced yogis. Liz Wanner is certified in Kripalu Yoga, Yoga for Arthritis, Tai Chi for Arthritis, Qigong for Health, and Meditation. Liz is also a certified Reiki Master.
