Are you stressed? Feeling anxious? Not sleeping? Mindfulness meditation is scientifically proven to reduce stress and anxiety; improve brain health and memory; and enhance the quality of a good night's sleep. A calm mind, relaxed body, and sleep are major factors in maintaining good health physically, mentally, and emotionally. In this class you will learn breath awareness, body awareness, and present moment mindfulness meditations while seated comfortably in a chair. This class also includes the stress reducing practices of gentle chair yoga, breathing techniques, qigong, mantra, and acupressure. All are welcome!  The instructor, Liz Wanner, is certified in Kripalu Yoga, Yoga for Arthritis, Tai Chi for Arthritis, Qigong for Health, and Meditation. Liz is also a certified Reiki Master.
