Students in grades 6-8 will learn the fundamentals of programming using Python, a beginner-friendly programming language. In this hands-on class, students build fun, engaging projects while mastering fundamental programming principles like variables, loops, conditionals, arrays, functions and more. This course is intended for middle school students with no or minimal experience in learning programming. It is also ideal for students who have experience with block-based programming like Scratch and code.org, and want to level-up to text-based programming. This is an interactive, LIVE, virtual class taught by an instructor in real-time (not recorded videos). It is a small group of 6-8 students with ample opportunity for individual attention and group work. To pay by installment, please contact the Community Ed. Dept. at 610-489-8506, ext. 1125.
