Info

Students in grades 3-5 will build a strong foundation in computational and solution-oriented thinking by creating fun animations, engaging stories, and interactive games with Scratch. Scratch is a visual drag-and-drop coding platform built by MIT, specifically for young students who are just getting started with programming. This course is intended for elementary school students with no or inconsistent exposure to block-based programming like Scratch or Code.org and who want a more structured program. It is also ideal for absolute beginners. This is an interactive, LIVE, virtual class taught by an instructor in real-time (not recorded videos). It is a small group of 6-8 students with ample opportunity for individual attention and group work. To pay by installment, please contact the Community Ed. Dept. at 610-489-8506, ext. 1125.
