This workshop will introduce you to some very basic, yet significant, concepts pertaining to your long-term personal finances and planning for your future. Understanding the long-term effects, both good and bad, of acting (or not acting) is critical to your future financial well-being. There are many simple steps you can take now that can have a drastic impact on where you end up when you are ready to retire. This class will break down the complicated ideas of 401k's, IRA's, mutual funds, and life insurance into easy to understand concepts to help you make the right decisions, or at least ask the right questions. You will leave this class with an understanding of at least a few new concepts that can have an immediate impact on your life.
