Calling all current PVSD 4th & 5th grade band students! Calling all current 3rd through 8th grade orchestra students! Elementary Band and Elementary/Middle School Orchestra Activity Week is planned for July 22-25, 2024.
The program will include full ensemble and small group instruction with PVSD music staff. On Thursday July 25, a performance will be presented for families at 9:30am in the Middle School East auditorium. Band participants MUST have experience playing one of the following instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone or percussion.
Orchestra participants MUST have experience playing one of the following instruments: violin, viola, cello, or string bass. Band students and the 4th through 8th grade orchestra students will attend from 8-11am each day. The 3rd grade orchestra students will attend from 12-3pm Monday through Wednesday and from 8-11am on Thursday.
Parents/Guardians must provide transportation to and from LIFT Camps. If children register for both morning and afternoon camps during the same week, supervision will be provided from 11:00 am -12:00 pm while students eat lunch. Children must provide their own lunch.
